LOS ANGELES (Nov. 14, 2018) – LegalMation®, an innovative A.I. platform that automates early stage litigation work, announced today the expansion of its platform to New Jersey. Initially released in California and recently launched in Texas, the platform analyzes legal complaints and generates high-quality draft responses and written discovery requests within minutes.  The expansion to New Jersey as the company’s next jurisdiction was driven by the need of its key large corporate clients.

Earlier this week, columnist Joe Borstein in Above the Law characterized LegalMation’s advancement as giving attorneys the freedom to do higher end litigation work because the rote and tedious litigation tasks can now be automated—thereby increasing the humanity in the legal community. “As Joe points out, our mission is to help attorneys leverage the power of artificial intelligence to complete the lower end tasks so that attorneys can now devote their talents on the more substantive and cognitively-demanding litigation tasks that require human based-strategic decisions. In other words, our ultimate mission is to make lawyers more human,” said James M. Lee, CEO of LegalMation. “Our expansion into the New Jersey market is just another step toward transforming the practice of law nationally and delivering the kind of smart, time-saving tools that today’s corporate counsel and law firm attorney wants.  Our roll-out plan calls for the top 20 states in litigation volume to be completed in the coming months with Florida as our next jurisdiction.”

LegalMation is the only legal A.I. solution that automates the drafting of key documents in the early stages of litigation—a process that normally takes attorneys or paraprofessionals 10 hours or more to complete.
